Had dinner with my girlfriend's parents tonight

In talking with her dad, I come to learn that he had an E93 M3, with a 6MT. Apparently it was a 2012 and he had it for two years, so we talked cars for a while after that.

This isn’t first time I’d met her parents, but it was the first time I got to talking cars with her dad.

Wait, are you dating my girl? Her dad had one too, as well as a ton of other BMW’s. He currently has a 5-series and 6-series, and they’re both quite good fun.

It’s wonderful being able to find something like cars to bond over. Way better conversation than, “So, your daughter and I were engaged in oral congress the other night...”

Sadly, he’s driving a Toyota Highlander now. He was talking about getting an M340i or an M550i.

Ah, I’d say definitely go for the M550. My girl’s dad has the 535 with the M-Sport package, and it’s a hell of a good time. The 650 is great too, but I only drove it around their neighborhood, so I never got to really open it up.
